Blackburn Rovers head coach Tony Mowbray has insisted that Tuesday night's triumph over Scunthorpe United would come for nothing, should they slip up against AFC Wimbledon this weekend.

The Rovers clinched a 1-0 win over Scunthorpe at Glanford Park, thereby ending the Iron's unbeaten start to the new season.

As a result, Mowbray's side recorded their fourth consecutive league victory for the first time in nearly a decade. The Rovers return to Ewood Park after two games on the road, and the manager knows that his side will have to perform at a similar vein against the Dons.
