Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer, who has been appointed on a caretaker basis, has said that he expects the club to survive in the Championship this season. He has also said that he is extremely confident that the club can take 18 points from the remaining six matches.
After a terrible run of form, which led to the sacking of Michael Appleton, the club are currently in the bottom three of the Championship. They are just one point off safety, but the fact that other clubs around them are taking points means that Blackburn have been put as one of the favourites to be relegated this season.
