Blackburn Rovers managed to keep their good current run by beating Scunthorpe 1-0 away from home. This win makes it the fourth successive victory for Blackburn Rovers after a difficult start to the season.

However, the match was not that easy, and they had to dig deep in order to come out with the win. Indeed, Scunthorpe was unbeaten before the game, and they showed why during the match.

Blackburn Rovers started the new season with a lot of hope that they would get back into the Premier League after an extended absence.

The former title winners are far away from their glory days. The recent appointment of former Burnley manager Owen Coyle is expected to kick off a new era at Ewood Park. The team took on Norwich City in the opening game of the season. Even though the match was at Ewood Park, it was seen as an extremely difficult encounter since Norwich have just come back from the Premier League and are extremely strong as a squad.

After the recent recover from an Italian businessman, Leeds United are widely expected to appoint Bowyer as the new manager. Despite the late recovery in form, Leeds finished well away from the play-off places, which is very important for the club to get into the Premier league.
