The Championship club Blackburn Rovers are currently in talks with the Turkish international Colin Kazim-Richards, who has been likened to Gareth Bale.

It is thought that the Championship club would be interested in bringing the Turkish international on a season long loan deal, with a view of making it permanent if they are promoted to the Premier league.

The Lancashire club were relegated from the Premier league last season after finishing in the bottom three of the table. Yet, the club have put their faith in the manager Steve Kean and have allowed him to make a number of significant changes to the squad.

A number of high profile players have arrived at the club despite the relegation into the second division of English football. Colin Kazim-Richards is expected to be the next major arrival at Ewood Park after it was revealed that the club are in talks with the Turkish club Galatasaray over bringing the player on a loan deal. The 25-year-old is no stranger to English football after having played for many English clubs in the past including West Ham. Blackburn Rovers do need to strengthen the attack after they have recently lost the striker Leon Best to up to 6 months after his major injury.

Meanwhile, the manager has also confirmed that the club has made an official offer for the Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes. A number of clubs are interested in securing Jordan Rhodes in the summer due to his splendid goalscoring record. "I can confirm that we have a bid in for Rhodes, and are also interested in other players," said the Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean. Due to the injury to Leon Best, it is expected that the club will make at least a few signings in the transfer window in the attacking positions.
